Hlengisa PS, Literacy for Every Learner
The project aimed to support learners struggling with reading and pronunciation, helping them gain confidence while building literacy skills. Yeboneers wanted to create an inclusive learning experience that addressed individual learner needs.
Activities included reading aloud, comprehension exercises, and interactive literacy tasks. Yeboneers guided learners with patience, ensuring each learner could engage meaningfully and practice language skills.
Yeboneers learned that learners have diverse learning styles requiring adaptation and flexibility. They gained insight into fostering engagement, encouraging participation, and supporting each learner according to their pace and abilities.
