HIKE TO ALANKIYI PLATEAU

HIKE TO ALANKIYI PLATEAU

As Pina scouting Club, from İzmir, Turkey we had 5-6 km hike with 19 scouts. Actually our plan was about 12 km, however we had found shorter paths as surprise. firstly, greenhouses having hundreds of colorful flowers had welcomed us. this was preparations of traditional flower festival, that will take place 2 days later. On right, we saw Furunlu historical village which was abondoned. then we started to climb through the plateau. Climbed, climbed, still climbed...we almost reached to clouds but the whethers is still hot. our first station is a picnic area that is out of use. we had started walking. we thought at least 12 km route. But the nature had helped us , it was too hot, and after 5-6 km we had found ourselves in Alankıyı village. especially mountain tulüps were great. it is generally very diffcult to find. we decided to use our remaining time as exploring the other side of mountain.one more different villages, river... and of course cherry. the season of cherry. after we had break on water for lunch, we visited Belkahve and Atatürk monument.. congratulations all scouts, participated.
