On the 11th of October, I had the priviledge to facilitate the Girl Guide Open Company (GGOC) Internation Day of the Girl (IDG) activity workshop for 2020 by WAGGGS, #HearMeNow. This topic encourages the young girls and boys taking part on understanding the difference and inequalities that are faced by girls worldwide in many aspects including professions, educations and governance. The girls that took part aged from 8 to 16 to express their feelings on achieving their goals and had a chance to compare and listen to the opinions from the scouts that took part as well. It was a very proactive and open minded engagement that benefitted everyone present, including the leaders. We are glad to be able to empower the youths to speak their minds and take action.
