Healthy Life, Healthy Community

As saying goes "health is wealth", Bhutanese people lacks to care their health and there is increase in health issues in the community. This situation made me to make a step to set up this project where this projects basically helps scouts and non-scouts to learn about providing nursing care for patient safety practically and theoretically. This project would be able to make non- scouts to learn where this will help in solving the health issues in the community

This project took place in the hosiptal of Wangdue and Paro Dzongkhag where the trainees were from Paro and Wangdue Dzongkhag. In order to execute this project we contacted with the officials of Paro and Wangdue hospital. Participants were provided with accommodation. The required items to learn where arranged from the hosiptal of Paro and Wangdue.

This Project benefited almost 500 youths and 90 scouts as they learned how to take care of the patient theoretically and practically, they learnt on how to maintain and make others to maintain healthy life. This project will help in solving the health issues arising from the community. The trained youths and scouts will advocate and make awareness about the healthy life and help them in staying a healthy life

On implementing this project, I have learned how to care a patient, got some ideas on different medical equipment, different types of medicine and got nursing skills. As covid19 is far from ending, we learned some of the techniques to tackle covid19 issues in the future. In order to stay a healthy life and healthy community we need to take notorious food, taking meals on time and staying clean is very important.
