Health !! The most important and valuable gift for every individual .. A Health Camp was conducted at Lake View Public School for all the students and teachers. This was a joint project with The Lion's Club. We coordinated the event with Mr. Lion Sanjeev Rao, Director, Lion's Club of Bangalore, Sanjaynagar. He arranged for the Doctors, Pharmacist and the helpers. We had two kinds of tests conducted, one was a general health check for all and refraction test was for students from 4th std. to 10th std. We had 2 General Physicians, 2 Ophthalmologist, 1 Pharmacist, 1 Helper, 1 Intern, 2 members from Help Age India and 3 Members from Lion's Club. As a part of Mafeking Open Unit, we arranged for the venue, the food and helped the Doctors with their process. The Doctors were well experienced and had a lot of patience with the little ones. They rendered their service with a smile and spread the message of love and peace. The students were also given medicines for their illnesses. They also came across a student with a squint, for whom, they immediately fixed an appointment for a Squint Correction Surgery free of cost, on 21st October, 2014. The Doctors consulted each and every student with a lot of care by understanding even their minute details. It was a great learning experience to have been a part of this activity.
