Hand in Need.
Hard times are common to us. So, our responsibility is to help anyone in their hard times from the best of our ability. Due to the economic crisis in Sri Lanka, it is too hard for some families to supply basic needs to themselves. There for we thought of functioning this project to supply dry food to few economically deprived families.
This project was executed in our neighborhood, with the help of the divisional secretariate officer we selected few families who undergo hard times. And we collected donations from the community and made good bags. And the we visited them.
This project was able to bring a smile to the dull faces. This satisfied their needs for a week. which was a great help to them. Their smiles explained it to us.
Through this project we learnt that not all beings are privileged to experience basic needs therefore we as the youth should lend our hands to them whenever possible.
