Growing Together: Scouts Supporting Local Farmers
We wanted to support local farmers by participating in agricultural activities during the Wirakarya Camp. Through this project, Scouts learned the importance of sustainable farming, environmental stewardship, and community cooperation while contributing to local food security.
During the Wirakarya Camp, Scout volunteers worked alongside local farmers in agricultural fields. We assisted with crop maintenance, learned sustainable farming practices, and supported daily farming activities. This collaboration strengthened community relationships while encouraging environmental awareness and teamwork.
This project helped us understand the value of agriculture and the hard work of local farmers. We strengthened our teamwork, leadership, and communication skills while learning how community collaboration can support sustainable food production and environmental conservation.
