Greenery Education for all
The pristine nature not only provides us food and shelter but also enables undisturbed thought processes. Especially during hot season when the teaching in the classroom becomes burden to both the teacher and student, the construction of such gallery helps them boost the energy to learn actively. During leisure times, all can enjoy the reading under the shade and viewing the beautiful scenarios. This in a way helps students engage in productive way.
The construction of gallery around the academic block in Gaselo Higher Secondary School was done by Scouts with the help of donations from different stakeholders. The patrols were given different responsibilities with clear aims and objectives. The budget was also calculated for buying the raw materials and refreshments.
730 students and teachers benefited from this project in 2021 and more are enjoying during 2022 academic year. This gallery will benefit more in near future. Students on the other hand got the experience of mason work and learned the importance of corporation/group work. Many students and teachers appreciated and praised the hard work put by scouts to build the gallery.
"United we stand and divided we fall" if we dream and work for the beneficiary of others the fruit that germinates from our hardship is always sweet. I also learned that all individuals have different skills and knowledge. It's not necessary that one should be good in reading and writing. Even if someone has the skills and talent then they can also lead a successful life. Sometimes skills and talent can also be very powerful. The beautification of the surrounding may help the learning more.
