“Green Carry Campaign by Bharat Scouts under CLAP”
Single-use plastic bags cause serious harm to the environment and living beings. As a member of Bharat Scouts & Guides, my motivation under the Climate Leaders Action Plan (CLAP) is to encourage people to adopt cloth bags as a sustainable alternative. By distributing cloth bags and spreading awareness, I aim to reduce plastic waste and inspire responsible habits for a cleaner and greener future.
We have make door to door awareness drive on avoid single use plastic and distributes Cloth bags and promote sustainability.
This project helped me understand the impact of single-use plastic on the environment and the importance of promoting cloth bags as an eco-friendly alternative. I learned effective communication, teamwork, and leadership skills while motivating people to adopt sustainable habits under the CLAP initiative.
