Green Action
Year 5 and 6 students worked on a Green Action School Based Project for a week where they worked together in updating the gardens by weeding, digging, planting, watering and mulching. They also turned an old incinerator into a part of the garden area. The students will be bringing more pot plants and turning the incinerator into a nursery. The boys and girls promoted gender equality and enjoyed working together. They had fun during the activities. The students are also trained to go back home and create their own backyard health garden. This also promotes healthy food and lifestyle.
