Global Hand washing Day was organized at Barshong Primary School on 14th October 2017 with following objectives: 1. Advocate community of handwashing with soap. 2. Create awareness about hand washing with proper hand washing technique 3. Reduce diseases such as diarrhoea and respiratory infections through proper hand washing habits. In order carry out the program successfully, the children were divided in to groups and were sent to the villages. They went door to door creating awareness with regards to proper hand washing with soap. They even demonstrated the steps proper hand washing.
