Global Cultural Jamboree 2021 - Srilanka
During the Pandemic Scouting outdoor activities were on Hold but Global Cultural Jamboree from Sri Lanka gave all scouts over the world to take part in various inclusive activities. take note of every culture in the world. The opportunity of a global jamboree is what inspired me to take this project and further improve my scouting profile.
The Cultural Jamboree 2021 had a road map and schedule given and various meetings, webinars and seminars were conducted on Zoom including recreational activities.
For my local NSO many new scouts got the opportunity of inclusion in a global scouting movement and explore the culture of scouts all over the world and the mere fact how all are bonded by one motive.
I have learned that interaction is the best way of exploration and network is a very important thing. We cannot grow alone, we must grow together so I want to build a network as vast as possible and explore the scouting world a lot more so that I can contribute to the world movement for SDGs
