The scouts of Seal30 and girl guides of Open Company and SMKSH had their hike for their respective youth programmes for about a rough distance of 7-8km. Their hike starts off at SMK Seri Hartamas heading toward Bukit Kiara and ends at Pusat Kreatif Kanak-kanak Tuanku Bainun. Along the way, the hikers had a chance to practice 21st Century scouting by applying and using technology on hand to record their journey. While in the forest reserve, they used a GPS to record their hike path and as reference when investigating the local flora and fauna. Other skills they had to practice were trapping, tracking and also basic Leave No Trace principles. It was a fruitful hike with a lot of knowledge to learn and to share.
