Food gardens for Sedan
At Sedan village there are many poor, families with high rate of unemployment and illiteracy. This project aimed at educating families in the village about the importance of food gardens. The Group promoted a level of awareness on how the community can help themselves by growing their own vegetables and making profit out of it. They planted a vegetable garden and while working on the garden the group built good relationships between Scouts and the community members. By planning, developing and maintaining the garden the Group developed good leadership skills.
