FOOD DRIVE FOR THE NEEDY- WOMEN'S DAY DRIVE
I was highly inspired from the Robinhood Army, a zero-fund organisation that provides food to the needy. Its motto "SERVE THE HUNGRY CITIZEN" motivated me a lot to work and do something for the society.
I am a rover and I belong to North 24 Parganas ( Barrackpore Local Association). I always had a wish to do something for the needy and received much inspiration from an organisation called Robinhood Army. Now I got an opportunity to be a part of it and to serve the hungry citizens. I've been a Robin for almost a year now and it feels amazing to be the reason behind someone's smile. 💚

Location of food drive:- Manirampur Brick Fields, Barrackpore Cant.
On the occasion of Women's day, I along with my entire team went to the Brick Fields to influence and make the lady labours understand about public health and sanitation and the need to keep themselves clean to avoid health implications. We stressed on the need to use sanitary pads and and napkins to ensure cleanliness. We also provided them with the day's food
I've learnt that when you donate food or feed the needy for atleast a day or two, the amount of satisfaction you get from within is immeasurable. You also get to motivate many of the people living around you so that some day in the future they can also do something for the society.
