FOOD DRIVE FOR THE NEEDY:- SPECIAL BLANKET DRIVE
I was highly inspired from the Robinhood Army, a zero-fund organisation that provides food to the needy. Its motto "SERVE THE HUNGRY CITIZEN" motivated me a lot to work and do something for the society.
I am a scout and I belong to North 24 Parganas ( Barrackpore Local Association). I always had a wish to do something for the needy and received much inspiration from an organisation called Robinhood Army. Now I got an opportunity to be a part of it and to serve the hungry citizens. I've been a Robin for almost a year now and it feels amazing to be the reason behind someone's smile. 💚

Location of food drive:- Siddheshwari Kali Temple and Babanpur Brick Fields.
We were able to distribute nearly 50 blankets to the poverty-stricken families near my locality which would highly benefit them to protect themselves from the shivering cold of the winter.
I've learnt that when you donate food or feed the needy for atleast a day or two, the amount of satisfaction you get from within is immeasurable. You also get to motivate many of the people living around you so that some day in the future they can also do something for the society.
