FOOD DRIVE FOR THE NEEDY- Barrackpore Launch Drive
I was highly inspired from the Robinhood Army, a zero-fund organisation that provides food to the needy. Its motto "SERVE THE HUNGRY CITIZEN" motivated me a lot to work and do something for the society.
I am a scout and I belong to North 24 Parganas ( Barrackpore Local Association). After I long wait, we finally launched Barrackpore chapter and celebrated its launch with the kids starting from cutting a cake and then organising a drawing competition too. I've been a Robin for almost a year now and it feels amazing to be the reason behind someone's smile. 💚

We spent one of the best days with the kids because not only did they get food packets and cakes, but also they participated in a drawing competition organised entirely by us. The best ones were awarded.
I've learnt that when you donate food or feed the needy for atleast a day or two, the amount of satisfaction you get from within is immeasurable. You also get to motivate many of the people living around you so that some day in the future they can also do something for the society.
