Food donation program
Due to continuous rainfall, the DDU Nagar Colony was flooded and residents were unable to go outside for daily needs. To support the affected families, a food donation programme was organized with the help of railway officers. Essential food items were distributed to ensure immediate relief to the people in need..
On 4 October, a door-to-door food donation programme was conducted at DDU Nagar Colony with the support of the East Central Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides District Association and railway officers. The activity was carried out with the participation of Rovers and Unit Leaders, ensuring timely distribution of food to affected families.
Through this activity, we learned the importance of teamwork, community service, and helping people during emergencies. The programme strengthened our sense of responsibility, leadership, and empathy towards people affected by natural disasters.
