Food Distribution Project During Ramadan
During the holy month of islam, Ramadan, we, the scouts of Team Oved felt that we have home, a place to live and have food to eat. But there are people who don't have that much money to afford a good meal for even once a day. So we made a plan to have iftar with some people from orphanage & started this project.
To execute this project, we first made a plan and talked with the orphanage manager. Then we listed how many people were there and that ordered sufficient food for all of them.
This project taught us the importance of what we have. We should be thankful to our family and God. It also taught us the importance of group work and mainly the learnings of SDG Goal 2: Zero Hunger and SDG Goal 1: No Poverty.
