Flood Disaster Relief Mission

This idea came to mind after the typhoon rai landed in a city of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur. Most of the victims are suffering from food shortages and their homes had been destroyed. The entire program is to provide immediate support to the victim by providing food and temporary shelter before the condition is recovered. The goals are also being achieved where 12 rover scouts from Penang had been mobilized to help out while funded 20K MYR of Cash and a Lorry of foods are being sent to victim.
The project had taken place in Kuala Lumpur & Selangor. At the same time,12 rover scouts from Penang State are being mobilized to the location to provide support on cleaning, assisting, and providing food supply to the victim around that area. The entire process took up to one week while 20K MYR had been funded immediately to ensure the food for victims is sufficient for all the victims. Mask and Hand sanitizer are also being provided where the covid outbreak is still ongoing in the flood areas.
During the project, there are more than 1000 victims are being impacted in the area of Semenyih and Dengkil, which is the areas that hit the most by typhoon rai. Food supply and Cleaning supplements are also being distributed to all the victims with the help of local area management to all the homes around "Kampung Semenyih".
I believe that in scouting, we always learn to create peace or build a better world by helping each other in our community. In this project, the entire process was quick and fast while still being able to gather many funds and food for the victim would inspire me that as a youth, we are still able to create an impact on the community.
