Flad day celebration
*J&K State Bharat Scouts and Guides, Srinagar celebrate Foundation Day; Felicitates best services during the year*
Srinagar, Nov 8: The Jammu and Kashmir State Bharat Scouts and Guides, Headquarter Srinagar celebrated National Foundation cum Flag day in Kashmir Harvard School, Srinagar here today.
The colourful celebration day witnessed a number of cultural songs and skits performed by Scouts and Guides of various schools registered with The J&K State Bharat Scouts and Guides, Srinagar.
Mr. G. N War, President, Private School Association, Kashmir attended the function as the Chief Guest. State Chief Commissioner, J&K SBS&G, Er N. A. Khan, S.O.C, Mr. Muzaffar Ahmad Tramboo, State Joint Commissioner, Ms Mehbooba, District Organising Commissioner, Mr. Imran Khan, Chairman Kashmir Harvard, Mr. Tariq Ahmad, Chairman The Legends School, Mr. Imran Shah, Chairman Oak Hill School, Mr. Mansoor Ahmad, Chairman New SMD, Principals and escort teachers from various educational Institutes, Scouts, Guides, Rangers, Rovers, other guests and all the office bearers of the J&K State Bharat Scouts and Guides, State Headquarter Srinagar attended the programme.

Arshid Baba (Project leader: Revival of Kashmiri Art through Children), Sheikh Muhammad Shafi (District Secretary Ganderbal), Ms Hamida Sheikh and Ms. Saleema Parveen stood in the judges panel to monitor and judge skit competition.
The programme was anchored by Shah Aijaz (Journalist), PRO J&K SBS&G, Kashmir and co-anchored by Ranger Rumaisa Shabir.
At the conclusion, awards and mementos were distributed among best services categories, dignitaries from various Schools. Best Scouts/Guides /Rangers /Rovers were also felicitated and the memento to the Chief Guest was presented by the State Chief Commissioner, Er. N. A Khan.
