First step towards free waste society.

One not being responsible for one's own waste and as waste pollution has been arduous to deal with had excite me to take part in the project.

To memorialize the Earth day, the scouts volunteers of Tang Central School had involved in various cleaning activities in the school and around the nearby residents covering about 2 square kilometers (including a kindergarten, a primary healthcare center, office areas, Rimochen monastery and some commercial areas). Respective troops lead by one assigned adult leaders had conducted cleaning activities in the implemented area. The cleaning campaign was all done in 2 hours.

The areas included in the project were cleaned thoroughly and also created awareness to nearby people on detrimental impact of waste pollution, providing the fact that people residing in the areas included in the project were benefited from the project. There after the project, the people seems more mindful and determined about their own waste and managed it properly.

This project imparts an important message on the importance of safeguarding the Earth and it's environment, not only by the volunteers but also by all the beings residing on Earth. The project helped to restore the asthetic beauty of the environment which is affected by the waste. To promote an impactful and meaningful project in near future I would try to influence more volunteers in such projects.
