First-aider for each and every house in Sri Lanka

Firstly I was inspired by the fact that many people were unable to seek health care from hospitals due to the covid -19 pandemic. All the normal services from health care institutions were limited due to the massive amount of covid - 19 patients. So I thought of aware my troop members about day to day first-aid via a Webinar
My project was implemented among my troop members. First I wrote a proposal and got permission from the relevant authorities, Then I collected information from the members who were willing to attend the webinar via a google form. Afterwards I made a presentation about day to day first-aid with the help of a Medical Officer who is going to be my presenter, Then I scheduled a Webinar using zoom on 10/24/2021 at 3:00 pm. Later on 10/24/2021 at 3:00 pm, I executed my project.
Mainly my troop members and their families were benefited from this project. By doing this project I am expected following outcomes. 1. Hope that this session will be helpful to all to engage their day to day first aid activities in this crucial situation by not seeking the help from the hospital for minor injuries. 2. To help the Ministry of Health Sri Lanka to achieve their one of the goals in Acute Non - Communicable Disease by having a first aider in each family in the country.
Mainly I acquired knowledge gained from the process of conducting a project. This includes the positives and negatives. The idea is to repeat the positives aspects and not repeat the mistakes. From what I have learned from conducting this project I would say it's better to conduct this type of program Physically giving opportunities to the attendees to practice procedures using dummie. Finally I wish I had planned to form questioner to the participants to assess their knowledge.
