7th Fort Sea Scouts and C Fort Sea Rovers had a Basic First Aid and CPR course organised by Klinik Bamz with the help of the Malaysian Red Crescent Association (BSMM). The course was held in conjunction with the clinic's aim of "1 First Aider in every family". With the staff of the clinic joining in for their first course, many of the scouts had a great opportunity to learn. The basics that were thought were on how to handle emergency scenarios. Topics covered include broken bones, choking, loss of consciousness, woulds and scrapes, shock, burns and muscle injuries. Methods of treatment that were thought involve basic bandaging, dressing, and CPR. At the end of the day, a CPR test was given in which the results and the certificate were handed to us a few months later.
