First Aid Programme

First time moving to a new scouting district and observing to the new environment, I feel the lack of first aid training among the community in the area. Thus, by conducting the program, it allows the sharing of information from the experts to the people who participated in the activity.
The project was implemented virtually, due to the situation at the moment, which was the increasing number of covid-19 cases. Thus, i was forced to do the program via google meet.
Even though it was heart breaking to not be able to do the program physically, i determined to continue the program but with different mode. Using google meet, it bring flexibility in terms of cost and time. Participants can reduce cost to attend a first aid demonstration. Approximately 25 people participated the virtual program. I believe those who joined the program benefited through understanding in how to react when an emergency occurs in front of their eyes.
I hope to do this program physically. It is pertinent as participants can understand more through the live demonstration in front of their own eyes. I also would emphasis in more first aid module, and call upon a certified CPR demonstrator so that the participants can have a certified CPR certificate to bring back home.
