Fire accident in Halisahar
In response to the increasing frequency of fire accidents, our scouting team is driven to take proactive measures. We aim to equip ourselves with the necessary skills and resources to respond swiftly and effectively during such crises. Our motivation lies in serving the community and providing crucial support to first responders.
We heard about this accident from a scout friend of ours. After hearing about the accident, some scouts went to the accident site, fire service was there and it was the regional headquarters of BGB, so BJP was there to help the fire service and we also went ahead to help BJP.
The fire was brought under control with the help of fire service and BGB members. As a result, the people of Halishahar area were saved from the terrible accident. Although some houses were burnt in the accident, the fire service did not catch a big fire in the slum and the remaining houses of the slum were saved. By implementing this project, i learned helping people is not just about being a good person. A good knowledge of disaster management is also very important
