FIJI SCOUTS GO VIRTUAL DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Considering the restrictions on movement in our country, the scouts commissioners decided to plan and implement scout activities virtually so that scout leaders can continue with scouting activities online. Other countries going online also motivated me to start this initiative.
This project was done virtually.
After this virtual meet, more than 100 scout leaders were assisted with ideas and skills to conduct scouting activities online. These leaders then conducted separate training sessions within their scouting district.
- Online learning is fun and educational at the same time. It help run programs successfully. This online learning can be made better through more effective communication between scout leaders, implementation of fun scouting activities which can be easily done virtually and introducing positive reinforcement.
