Scouts from Don Pedro Guiang Outfit 13 of Ilocos Norte Agricultural College under Boy Scouts of the Philippines Ilocos Norte-Laoag City Council conducts "Fight the Bite: An Anti-Dengue Campaign" on July 12, 2019 at Ilocos Norte Agricultural College, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. According to the World Health Organization, Dengue is a fast emerging pandemic-prone viral disease, a mosquito-borne viral infection causing a severe flu-like illness putting almost half of the world population at risk. This aim of this activity is to reduce the morbidity and mortality rates of dengue infection to a level wherein it will no longer be a public health problem.
