EVERY CHILD NEEDS AN EDUCATION

Early this year, I found out that kids below 5 years were playing around the community during school days. I visited the community leaders to learn more from them on matter. I was told that the community had no nursery school close to 8 years. This was so because the community is unable to access most of the government development. I was a big challenge and took the matter to my fellow scouts with them aim of turning our campsite for nursery school so that kids have an access to education.
I convinced my fellow scouts to get engaged in fundraising for the nursery school. Together we started writing letters to some of the community members to contribute any money towards the project. We used Facebook to call upon all the well wishers to help us with any funds. We got some funds from 1st Poulner scouts in UK and other well wishers in the community. We bought learning materials, benches, black board and other needful resources and handled to the community for operations.
Education is a key to success for every child and it is very important that every child must have an access to education. From the past experience, the community noticed how kids struggled to make good grades in their primary school level because they never have chance for nursery school in order for them to have solid background. 56 kids have enrolled for nursery school in the community now. The future for the young kids is promising has they are able to access to nursery school lessons
