Eradicating Covid-19! Vaccination Drive, Pakistan
Hi! I'm from Pakistan and a proud member of the Scout Group named as KYDA SCOUTS. KYDA namely means excellent and skilled organizers and it has been 2 years since I'm a member of the Scout Movement.
Since the Covid-19 vaccinations are implementing day by day we organized a 2 day Vaccination camp. We took action and organized this vaccination camp for the benefit of the people which are close to us and also for the well being of others.
The Project was implemented in K.A.E.C.H.S Society, Karachi. We had to contact the Government for the Mobile Vaccination Facility and they sent it immediately.
We had all the vaccinations available, we had to manage the public accordingly hence we were there giving them precautions and spreading awareness of how important this is for the eradication of the pandemic and also had done the arrangements for the seating of people with proper social distancing and the use of masks.
At least 800-900 people benefitted from this project and in the end the project had a very positive impact on the people. They were convinced that to eradicate this pandemic we have to spread awareness to others also.
Many members of the community got vaccinated and they were giving there blessings for such an organized manner, things went pretty efficiently as the public was very cooperative. We as scouts played our share in eradicating the global pandemic of Covid-19.
I have learned that we have to spread awareness for the completion of vaccinations since people are not motivated in doing so.
