Environment Stewardship
The beauty of my village was getting hidden under the litter. Plus, the environment was getting unprotected day by day. So to restore the beauty of the area and protect the environment again, we had this activity.
It was executed in the marketplace of the area which is the most crowded spot in the area. I started with the awareness of the importance of protecting the environment, followed by the cleanliness drive along with my fellow scouts.
The impact of the activity was visible and hidden, both. The beauty of nature was brought to light again, which was visible. The hidden implications were saving the environment from plastic and preserving the biosphere.
I learnt how important it is to save nature and what it means to the locals. It will be better if it takes place on weekly basis.
