Scouts and Girl Guides jointly participated in the FESTIVAL held to mark the World Environment Day 2016. First time in Maldives Seven principles of Leave No Trace (LNT) introduced to the public by demonstrating principles via activities. Chief Guest of the Opening Ceremony was Minister of Finance and Treasury Hon. Abdulla Jihad. Minister of Environment and Energy Hon. Thoriq Ibrahim, State Ministers, Deputy Ministers, other state dignities, principals, Chief Commissioner and Deputy Chief Commissioner participated in the opening ceremony. In the opening ceremony Energy Efficiency Badge Competion was inaugurated by the Minister of Environment and Energy.
