Forest fire at Chimong Dendup Ling Community Fou8rest due to lightening. All the community scouts of Chimong, members from community involved in putting off the fire. Almost two acres of forest was burnt but due the large number of members we could control the fire. That community forest benefits fifty household of Chimong geog and it also home for many wild animals like deer, boars, monkey, bear Langur and many birds. Due to support from community and CBS we could able to protect that area from forest fire and now it will help our country Bhutan to keep green and as a whole it will help to lower the global warming and keep world safe to live.
