Entshona PS is Building a Love for Literature
The project aimed to teach learners the importance of reading and writing while developing their English skills. Yeboneers wanted learners to form a habit of using the library and to foster a genuine love for literacy.
Learners participated in reading sessions, discussions, and library activities. Yeboneers guided learners, encouraged participation, and helped them understand how to navigate and utilize library resources effectively.
Yeboneers learned how to encourage reluctant readers, adapt to learners’ varying skills, and foster confidence. They saw firsthand the value of library access and supportive mentorship in building reading habits.
