Embracing Multiculturalism
We celebrated Fiji Independance Day, World Teachers Day and Childrens Day Celebration at School in a combined celebration. Since Fiji is a country rich in multiculturalism, there needs to be peace among the citizens to ensure that we live happily together. Through this celebration, everyone was reminded about the importance of Fiji's history and the way we should work in order to have a peaceful and prosperous future.
I was so happy to see the students of our school, which is 100% I-taukei dominated, to talk about how we can spread peace within our country. Indeed the message of peace is slowly sinking in to the future of Fiji.
