Emblishment of JNEC sports pavilion Bhutan
As the motto of the Scouts is to Be Prepared, and the laws of Scouting is cheerful under all difficulties. So the Rovers of Jigme Namgyel Engineering College, from Bhutan approved the JNEC Sports Pavilion(Football, Volleyball and Basketball Court) with effect from 1st October 2022, in revamping college’s
The project was executed at Jigme Namgyel Engineering College, Bhutan by the 50 numbers of Rovers of the college (Sound East, Bhutan).
Firstly, team completely washed the football pavilion for the whole day and after drying, different layers of colors coating with different paints.
It was kept isolated until paint was completely dried.
The same procedure was followed for volleyball and basketball ball as well.
More than 700 individuals of the college students are benefited withtj er of colored Pavilion
From this action, college came to know that Scouting is not just doing the trash work but also developing personal slills and being cheerful and all difficulties.
The learnings we got by implementing the project are Innovating new and building Infrastructure in fulfilling the 9th SDG goal along with sdg number 4 quality education.
We were able to engage youths for the development of infrastructure using one’s skill and making the Rovers ready to face the everyday challege and increasing volunteerism for making the difference in the community. Our youths were sample on the First-Hand experience of all background.
