Eid Gift Distribution Project
I was inspired by the spirit of Eid — a time for sharing, caring, and helping others. Seeing some children unable to celebrate due to financial hardship made me want to do something meaningful. I wanted to bring smiles to their faces and remind everyone that Eid is about kindness and togetherness.
I started by identifying underprivileged families and children in my community. With help from my Scout team and friends, we collected donations such as clothes, toys, and sweets. We wrapped the items as gifts and distributed them just before Eid. We made sure each child received a gift and felt special. It was a beautiful experience of teamwork and compassion.
I learned the value of empathy and sharing. I realized that happiness grows when we give to others. The project also taught me how to plan community activities, communicate with people, and work as a team to bring joy to others.
