Eduquip
1st Merrydale Group in Mitchells Plain embarked on a project to supply educare centre with teaching equipment. They wanted to assist the educare with keeping their fees low. The Edu care’s vision and mission is to develop young children with special attention to social and cognitive skills.
This project is still due to take place, the group will be assisting 30 families consisting of 37 boys and girls.
Educational materials can be very expensive and they are purchased with the fees that parents pay towards school fees. The Group will be doing activities which will include, hand painting, and play dough modelling as well as other play modelling activities which will help the centre to save some money on buying expensive educational materials.
