EDUCATING HOUSEHOLDS ON IMPROVING NUTRITION AMONG CHILDREN BELOW 6 YEARS OLD BY GROWING AND EATING NUTRIOUS FOOD.
The project will support 45 families with setting up kitchen garden and training them how on how to common vegetable crops such as beans, carrots, Onions, Poivron, beetroots among others and Fruits. Educate households how to prepare a balanced diet in their households. Allow groups of Scouts and Model Families to practice agriculture that takes nutritional food needs into account (Production in quantity as well as quality.
The project will be implemented by youth scouts in Burera District. This Project aims at improving the nutrition at village level as well as eradicating stunting among children below 6 years old.
