Venturing Crew 149 from Alamogordo, NM is a very active group of young men and women that clean up the highway every quarter for a total of 4 miles around our White Sands National Monument and US Border Patrol Station.  We also clean-up around the Veteran's of Foreign Wars monument each month to assist in a cleaner area for everyone to enjoy.  For Earth Day, our Venturing Crew had an informational and interactive booth for our county.  We focused on getting the word out on Leave No Trace, Trek Lightly, Knot tying, Education on how to save our planet, community service, and flag retirement.
