Dzongkhag Nazhoen scouts Camp

Dzongkhag Nazhoen Scouts Camp organised by Dzongkhag Education Sector, Paro as a part of winter youth engagement program (from 19th-24th December 2017) was a huge success. The camp provided a wide range of activities that were focused on mental, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social development for the participants. A total of 240 Nazhoen Scouts, 18 scout leaders, 15 Leadership scouts took part in this 6 days program. The opening ceremony was graced by Chief Dzongkhag Education Officer Mr. Ngawang Dorji and the closing ceremony was graced by Hon'ble DSA president Dasho Tenzin Thinley on 24th December 2017. In his 30 minutes inspiring speech Dasho encouraged and motivated Nazhoen Scouts to prepare oneself to serve Tsa-Wa-Sum with utmost dedication and commitment. To this effect Dasho inspired each young individuals to be responsible sons and daughters to their parents at home and said this will ultimately make oneself a responsible citizens serving the nation with full dedication. Dasho reminded the participants on the importance of preserving and promoting our rich cultural heritage and reminded the young minds about weaponry roles that culture has played in maintaining Bhutan's sovereignty ever since its inception as a nation state.
