Drug-Free Youth: Nukkad Natak for a Healthy India
To raise awareness among youth about the harmful effects of drug addiction and inspire them to choose a healthy, positive, and addiction-free lifestyle. I was motivated to use street theatre, slogans, and speeches to spread the message of a drug-free India and encourage young people to contribute towards a healthier and developed nation.
Rovers and Rangers organised a street play under the Nayi Kiran Drug-Free Campaign, led by Senior Rover Ansh Dhawan under the guidance of Dr. Ajay Kumar. Through a Nukkad Natak, slogans, and a pledge, students were encouraged to avoid addiction and promote a healthy, drug-free India.
We learned the importance of teamwork, leadership, and public awareness in combating drug addiction. The activity improved our communication skills and strengthened our commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle, spreading awareness, and building a drug-free society.
