14 September 2016: First of all, we would like to thank the Paro Municipality for taking the decision to remove the slums like temporary shacks from the weekly vegetable market. This is not only to promote clean and beautiful Paro Vegetable market but also promote lesser and manageable waste. Community based Scouts(druk lakchay troop),rovers and paro clean bhutan help Paro Municipality and youth initiative clean up and draw demarcation lines for local vendors to follow the rules.
