As part of the External Relations and Funding Core Group of the European Scout Region, I am in charge of coordinating the drafting of 6 Policy Papers to define the European Region's positions on the main youth policy topics relevant to scouting. The 6 topics are: Youth Rights, Non Formal Education, Mobility, Social Inclusion, Scouting Vision of Youth Empowerment in Society, and Employability. This work will then facilitate the work of external representatives of the European Region as well as National Scout Associations willing to go in a similar direction. The European Region will be able to react faster to policy consultations and promote better the messages inscribed in the Scout Method.
