Donations that change lives
I feel tremendously fortunate to have always had access to a high-quality education in a setting with excellent facilities like my school. To help create a well-educated generation that will benefit my nation and society at large, I want to attempt to make it easier for other children to pursue their education.
I was inspired by this to accept the challenge and work with my school to plan this event.
At Royal International School Kurunegala (my school), the administration planned the project with the help of the students. The money was raised by the students, instructors, and anyone else who wanted to contribute. Then, on July 23, 2019, we made our way to Bakamune Kanishta Vidyalaya. There, we took part in a number of enjoyable activities like singing and playing cricket. Following the delivery of the donations (books and equipment), we continued on with our school excursion.
About 80 kids and 10 teachers from my school and 35 pupils and 5 teachers from the Bakamuna Vidyalay took part.
I am confident that the stationery and equipment supplied will assist the kids and teachers at Bakamune and raise the caliber of their instruction.
A generation that receives a solid education, even just a small portion of it, has the power to significantly alter society. By using their knowledge, the educated youth may now significantly better countless lives.
Our interpersonal skills and teamwork improved as a result of how much fun everyone had interacting with one another at Bakamune and Royal International School.
We acquired the virtue of giving and assisting others through making donations.
In order to provide the students with some peer-to-peer guidance for their academic efforts.
