Donating Stationaries.
Hard times are common to everyone, in these times we should help everyone in our community as Scouts. We Scouts of RIS Kurunegala organized a community service project under the leadership of our Scout Masters and Mistresses to provide household supplies to five families and as Education is also an important factor to students, we donated stationary items for 15 students at Alakoladeniya area in Kurunegala who are direly in need of these supplies.
This project was implemented at Alakoladeniya area, our Senior Scouts along with our Scout Masters visited there with donations like new books, bags, shoes and etc. And donate the supplies to households and the students.
Through this project, we were able to bring pretty smiles to the faces of many families and our donations will help them to run their households and also stationaries we donated will help those children to have a proper, quality Education.
Through this project we learnt that we as Scouts should help everyone in our society when they are in need of a hand to rise up from their failures.
