Donating clothes for our communities
This initiative inspired us to donate clothes and food products to our community as many of the kids and adults do not have access to proper clothing and food and it really touched us as scouts to step in and help our community as it is part of our duty
We asked some of our community members for assistance and they gladly stepped in as they knew that it was for a good cause and we requested some donations of food packs from our local government.
The government stepped in as well and we were able to donate more than 50 food packs to our fellow community members
Over 325 community members contributed from our project. It was so delightful to see the happiness and smiles from their faces.
What we learned from this project is that we definitely are going to need more hands on deck to further help the members within our community.
