Do the Earth a favour, be the energy saver.

The goal of digital technology is to make life easier by applying scientific and engineering knowledge in the field of digital or computerized systems to deal with everyday practical issues. I have noticed that the lights in the classrooms are kept on 24/7 and the street lights are on during odd hours. The energy was not utilized judiciously. Thus, I wanted to try ways and means to control centrally through a smart phone to foster energy conservation and make life comfortable and faster.

I have executed my project at my own school. I have carried it out in consultation and support from the school administration. I have started with the orientation on the use of an app to control the lighting system and the sole purpose of the project. I was so happy that the school has appreciated our initiatives. School found it important to advocate more participants to bring sustainable and a great changes in the community.

Energy conservation is the foundation of energy independence. There could be many beneficiaries from the project implemented, however estimated numbers would be of more than 650 because it benefited all students and teachers. We must conserve energy to preserve the future and with the implementation of the project it has created a better scope for sustainable use of energy. In addition, it has made the work of the people easier and faster.

I got to work and learn about an environmental technology and in the process of making a system I got ideas on its' functioning system. Digital technology has brought about a massive transformation in the way we work and learn. It can be used in various areas of our life. The environmental technology that we have developed was simple but it was effective in conservation of energy. I need to attend more seminars and training for larger scale application.
