Kisii University flamingo rover scouts from Kenya early this year in the spirit of expanding the spirit of brotherhood of service,initiated scouting programme at Kisii Vocational and Rehabilitation Centre.Kisii Vocational And Rehabilitation Centre is an institution which is provides basic skills such as tailoring,woodwork,metal work and hairdressing which can provide income to the students after a successful completion of the course.The institution specializes in admission of differently abled students.The scout initiative has so far yielded fruits as the scouts participated in scouting competition and successfully proceeded in the sub county and county level and they are now waiting for regional competition and hope to reach the zonal level which will be held in South Sudan late this year.
