Distribution of winter clothes
Char residents usually build their houses by the side of the river or in the middle of the river. Moreover, the Char area gets very cold in winter where the river breeze keeps the temperature cool. Winter clothes are distributed to save Char residents from winter.
On March 18, 2023, the members of the Crystal Open Scouts Group initiated a project in Scout Char, Lalmonirhat, Bangladesh. The project aims to be managed beautifully and efficiently with active participation from 20 Scout members.
The Char region gets very cold during the winter season. Therefore, the main effect of our project was to ensure that the children, including the pastoralists, are safe and healthy from winter. About a hundred children including Charbashi will benefit from this.
During the winter season, the life of the pastoralists is very difficult, especially the children suffer more. Therefore, we should stand by the people of Char with the mindset of serving everyone and move forward by working with all the goals of the SDGs.
